hi, this is sonya. She dances around in over sized t shirts and boxers. she has an addiction to Mike Chang. anyways, its about this sky kingdom called, Averos. In Averos, the storm dragons, Averins, roam about and they play making a thunder storm occur. When lightning storms occur, the people of Averos get to go on Earth too. Sadly, once someone goes down to the earth and the thunder storm ends without the person going back to the kingdom they die. Except for the ruler of the kingdom.
Averos is ruled by a king and has two sons. The king dies and so the next heir was supposed to be decided upon. Asking one of the wise dragons in the kingdom, they expected that the older son would get the position(but its actually anyones game). But the wise dragon told them that neither of the two would be the next heir. the wise dragon speaks of a girl who was raised breeding dragons. She was not shown to the queen because the king didn't want a girl to rule the kingdom. and he was told that the queen would be barren after the first born. so instead of making a girl rule the kingdom he wanted to appoint someone else to be the heir. because of this, he gives the child to a farmer- one who raises and breeds dragons. and she grew up without knowing who her true family was
The girl went down to earth when a thunder storm occurred. and ended up staying on earth. She didn't know why she was able to live for so long on earth soil so she consulted a dragon. the dragon tells her the story of her past and she realizes that she had to go back to the kingdom. only, the next thunder storm was far away.
the two sons, after knowing that someone else was to rule the kingdom, decided to hunt down the lost child and kill him(assuming that it's a guy because the dragon never told them the gender of the missing child).
